What is our process?

You have booked in for a full Alloy Wheel Refurbishment with AWB Powder Coating and today is the day! So what can you expect from us?

First of all, we will have agreed a convenient date and time to collect your car, along with the colour and finish you have chosen. Once we have your car at our facilities and the tyres have been carefully removed, the alloys will be chemically dipped to remove all existing paint from the wheel. 

They are then washed off, inspected and any repairs that are needed will be carried out. They are then shot blasted in preparation for coating. The alloy wheels are then primed, coloured and lacquered, by heating in a specialised oven, causing the powder to melt and form a hard, durable finish.

This process not only enhances the appearance of the wheels but also significantly extends their lifespan. 

Once your wheels have cooled, they will be put back on the car and rebalanced. We will then return your car to you at the arranged time, ready for you to show off your shiny new wheels.
